Villa Ahn was a great Bali getaway. We stayed at the villa for a week this summer, and had the most relaxing and pampered experience. We found it had a nice combination of western comfort and Balinese hospitality and design. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the villa itself had the comforts of a luxury hotel but with the intimacy of a private home. It was ideal for lounging and relaxing (especially the bale) and sipping drinks by the pool, but we also enjoyed being close to town and the local sites. Overall, a great place where you know from the first moment that you’re on a real holiday.
My only regret is not having asked for a masseuse to come and give us a massage in the bale.
I’d recommend this place to anyone who enjoys an elegant home, hand-and-foot service, and beautiful natural surroundings. We’re looking forward to going back! - Jane
